"We knocked it out of the park! Fabulous, fabulous!
Thanks for doing a great job on the book! It was a huge job and you guys hung in there and got it done on time. We got our copy late last night. We did an excited quick run through last night and then paged through it in detail this morning. Both of us could not be happier with the result. And our families are going to love it.
The photographs were stunning and yes Glenn, we did go through it this morning in the bright sun. The page headlines are a real plus because it gives guidance to the reader which is important in the lengthy book, and it acts as a teaser to get the reader to read the pages. Also I really like the wrap up page for each house.
Diane's layout is a super success. We liked the way you presented the old snapshots and the task of keeping the words to match the photos on a set of pages was a real challenge, but it happened. And you were able to use all the old stuff like report covers as well as old photos despite their low resolution. I don’t think that the size and weight is an issue. It’s a bit cumbersome, but I am super happy that we stayed with one book instead of two. I’m glad we added the ribbon which is needed with a large book. At one point I was worried about a square format, but it works great. Your printer did a great job, and the finished product is a high quality book.
So once again thanks for doing such a great job and hanging in there as the job grew and grew and grew. And thanks Glenn for suggesting the book in the first place and then encouraging me to add our life stories to it. And you never complained as I added more and more and more."
